Sweet Potatoes in Jaggery Syrup - It is a very quick dish made with only 3 ingredients.
Wash sweet potatoes thoroughly with salted water and slice into 1/2 inch rounds.
Heat ghee in a vessel, add sweet potatoes and roast them until the nice aroma comes.
Sprinkle fistful of water then place a bowl on top and fill it with water.
Cook on low flame for about 10 to 15 minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally.
Now add grated jaggery and cardamom powder and let's cook until jaggery melts. It takes about 4 to 5 minutes.
When it's done remove from the heat and let it cool down before serving.
